Break out the cast iron

2 Tbsp butter or margerine
1 cup of flour. Works with all purpose or whole wheat. We use whole wheat.
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
2 cups sliced fruit or berries

Preheat oven to 350F
Mix dry ingredients together.
Melt the butter or margering in a ovenproof 7" frying pan. Cast iron is great.
Mix the milk into the dry ingredients.
Dump the batter into the frying pan over the melted butter
Top with the 2 cups of fruit and pop into the oven.
Bake for 30 minutes.

Enjoy pretty much right out of the oven.
Put some maple syrup on the table. You know what to do with it!
